I honestly don´t know how tun interfaces "subnet mode" are expected
to behave. I cannot think of any other way to configure the
interface and routes either to avoid this behavior.
Does your linux client behave diffrently?
i'll have to test it.
I assume you got the same bahvior when manually configuring the
interface and routes, so my patch havn´t changed anything, right?
yes it does give the same behavior using the original tun.c without
your patch.
