RE: [Openvpn-users] Multiple Adapters AutoStart in Windows

Because I have a single Server to Server WAN connection that needs a static internal IP and I have multiple Road Warriors. Since someone doesn't always log on to our 2003 servers when they start up OpenVPN would have to start as a service.

My only other option is to use two seperate 2003 servers, one for the server to server connection and one for the road Warriors. But I would rather use one server.

If someone has another way of doing this on one server, I would love to hear it.

thanks

-Craig

Why do you want to separate config directories ?

I do it for a server with 8 TUN interfaces, and I have put a shortcut in the Startup folder.

	My shortcut : "C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin\openvpn-gui.exe --connect VPN1.ovpn --connect VPN2.ovpn ..... --connect VPNx.ovpn"

But I think that you must put your config files in the config file directory : c:\program files\openvpn\config". I do it and it works fine for me.

This starts the 8 tunnels on my 2003 server at the opening of the session.

	See U

I would like to start two different OpenVPN TAP adapters at startup in a service with different config files and directory locations. Do I have a create multiple services? If so how do I set the config information (config files location, and other stuff in [HKLM/Software/OpenVPN]) to be different for each TAP adapter?

	thanks
