hi I am pretty poor at linux fundamentals, and am struggling with "bridge-start" script that I need to run before the openvpn service, if I want to run a bridged vpn. I installed openvpn from rpm's for FC2 and that was fine. I can create a routed vpn, but i need bridged. In the howto it says that you need to run "bridge-start" and then the openvpn service. The rpm has put a startup script for openvpn in "/etc/rc.d/init.d/ that parses the working directory of openvpn for .conf files and starts the openvpn service if it finds some. What i don't know is where and how to put a line of text that will run the bridge-start script at the appopriate time. Of course once i work that out, i should probably also know where and when and how to run the bridge-stop script for an orderly shutdown/reboot Apologies for such a dumbo question. daniel ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2005-09/msg00045.html on line 187 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2005-09/msg00045.html on line 187 |
