Why do you use bridging (tap) instead of routing (tun)?
We like having broadcast work.  In fact, the reason we got VPN up and running
was so we could handle LAN network games between the networks, some of which
rely on broadcast to find LAN servers.

(Since then we've found it's quite nice to be able to browse the SMB network on
our clients, though I'm sure judicious application of a WINS server would fix
that)
