Subject: Re: [Openvpn-users] Routing issue (status=1)
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Hi,
OpenVPN server: CentOS 4
Clients: Windows XP SP2
I'm having a problem with one of my remote clients - he's not getting any of the routes that are pushed to him when he connects (according to his route table). While I'm waiting on him to send me his log file, I checked the server log and found that there is a "(status=1)" after the PUSH_REPLY for any connection attempt from any of my clients (5 of them):
Fri Jul 22 12:57:23 2005 us=820424 MOBILE2/192.168.4.1:60161 PUSH: Received control message: 'PUSH_REQUEST'
Fri Jul 22 12:57:23 2005 us=820507 MOBILE2/192.168.4.1:60161 SENT CONTROL [MOBILE2]: 'PUSH_REPLY,route 192.168.4.0 255.255.255.0,route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0,dhcp-option DNS 10.8.0.1,route 10.8.0.1,ping 10,ping-restart 120,ifconfig 10.8.0.18 10.8.0.17' (status=1)
...Is the status message normal? All of my other clients are not having any problems with routes, just the above referenced one and he was initially routing correctly - this just started about 1 week ago. There have been no changes to this client (other than the normal MSOFT hotfixes) so I am a bit at a loss.
