[Openvpn-users] TOS Bit

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] TOS Bit

Craig,

If I am setting the TOS bit on both ends of a tunnel, shouldn't they carry across the tunnel?

I'm using the magic wonder scripts for TOS on an Asterisk install, using tcpdump to watch both ends of the tunnel, I'm seeing the TOS bit is being set correctly..
But, when received on the opposite side of the tunnel, the TOS is stripped. When the Asterisk server on the opposite side is responding (I'm trunking betweek two servers via IAX2), I see it's response TOS bit is set as well, but received it's cleared. Is this correct?

Doug
