Thanks for the reply. I actually figured out that I was missing the lines
above in my client config.

Now the tunnel terminates and looks good, bug I seem to have a problem at
layer 3. I can't ping across the /30. My routing table looks good on
either side, and my statics get injected into the routing table, but I
still can't ping. The XP client seems to ignore the static, preferring the
default gateway on its ethernet interface instead of the tunnel, even
though the tunnel has a longer match. Neither end is running a
software-level firewall, but that's about all the debugging I've done so
far.
