Or accually, that's the only thing OpenVPN does! In opposit to most commersial SSL VPNs which usually use a web browser to access services on the remote network, OpenVPN cannot be used through a web browser. It always does "network extention" or whatever you want to call it, just like IPSec. So if you're looking for a solution to connect two or more IP networks together using the SSL protocol, you have come to the right place... OpenVPN also works great in "Road Warrior" VPN setups, but it's still operating as a true VPN doing IP routing or bridging and require installation of the OpenVPN software. -- _____________________________________________________________ Mathias Sundman (^) ASCII Ribbon Campaign OpenVPN GUI for Windows X NO HTML/RTF in e-mail http://openvpn.se/ / \ NO Word docs in e-mail ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2005-08/msg00060.html on line 194 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2005-08/msg00060.html on line 194 |
