[Openvpn-users] openvpn problem

Hello all

Well, i have been banging my head against this for a while and did
some extensive searching so hopefully someone can help.

I am trying to get openvpn2.0 working on a debian linux installation.
I was able to configure/make openssl, lzo, and openvpn2.0 fine. In
fact, i was able to generate all my key files and created the
server.conf file fine as well. The problem I am having is right after
that step, i am trying to test openvpn.

when i run openvpn --config server.conf i get nothing, no errors, no
output, no nothing. I just hit enter and it takes me to the next
prompt line...

i.e.
/etc/openvpn# openvpn --config server.conf
/etc/openvpn#

I have also tried launching using the rc scripts and get an odd error
although i have searched the logs (/var/log/syslog,
/var/log/daemon.log, etc).

Can anyone provide any insight as to what might be going on? If i run
openvpn with no arguments it spits out the help file. Please help, i
am not sure what else to do. Thanks
