You're right. I think I'll go for it.
BTW, that does not solve the problem, it would cause an endless restart,
with poor throughput for the rest of the clients, which is better than
nothin, I guess :).

Second, your client systems should use the "nobind" directive in their
config files. Are they doing so presently?
Yes, they should, at least to my knowledge.
