[Openvpn-users] /dev/network/tun MAC address on Linux

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] /dev/network/tun MAC address on Linux

I see tha0t every time I bring on line OpenVPN (2.0 on Ubuntu [Debian
based]) the mac address of /dev/network/tun interface changes. I use it to
connect to a windows openvpn server.
It is possible to set it once and for all?

I have tried to use ifconfig tun hw MA:CA:DD:RE:SS:!! with no chance.

The problem is that server I connect to is behind a router with mac address
filter and every time I have to update the mac table entry.

Thx
Antonio
