[Openvpn-users] User identification

I have setup a server-bridge openvpn server with some clients. Some clients are behind a router and I have setup a certificate for each of them. Is that enough to ensure proper user identification? or do I have to use multiple openvpn daemons on different ports? When I connected both users with certificates properly setup I could ping from each other(using VPN IPs) correctly but I was wondering if in this situation OpenVPN will *always* assign different IPs to different clients.
I ask thi question because usually one use ports and not certificates to distinguish between users behind a remote router (source IP and port are the same for both clients!). And it is better for me since for port forwarding I would need static IPs.

Please note that I am using that I am not bridging the 2 LANs because the link is just temporary so I prefer a per computer approach.

Thx
Antonio
