You only need to download the SDK if you really want to build code from source. In this case, to merely get OpenVPN up & running, I'd recommend just downloading the gui package, with all the correct drivers, etc.

I'm using it right now on Tiger, and have no trouble w/ the new GUI, or tun/tap drivers.

The GUI comes w/ a complete installer for OpenVPN. Do it, and you'll only have to edit the config file, and set up keys. No fuss, no muss.

Beware: if you're running Tiger (OS X 10.4), the tun/tap drivers are broken
(at least for the moment).

Hi all,

First I have to appologize as this is not really an Openvpn question but an
iBook question.

I found the terminal window and the source files for openvpn, but when I run
configure I'm told that I don't have a compiler installed. Where and how do I
get that?

TIA
