Thanks, good thought, but I do have a specified "remote" peer. I guess
it wouldn't hurt to listen for connections from anywhere, but I am a
control freak. :) (Also, our endpoint is behind the firewall, and I
didn't want to NAT all inbound 1194/udp, because we're going to replace
the old pptpd with an OpenVPN server.)

We built this machine and sent it via Fedex overnight delivery to the
other site. They've had it all day (US Eastern time) and it's still not
up on the wire. Almost close of business. We were supposed to have this
VPN up and running today!
We're encountering political opposition, because the people who do the
IT at the other site are heavily into canned solutions. For them "VPN"
means "IPSec", and they don't understand other ... BETTER ... ideas.
They know little if anything of substance, only what to buy and where
to point-and-click to make it work. I dread having to explain to them
how to set up routing through the VPN ... sigh.
