I could certainly post a guideline on the web site -- the problem is that the kind of people who violate etiquette may not go out of their way to find the guidelines.

Of cource. A mailing list will never be perfect, but then at least we who do try to follow some etiquette knows that we do the right thing, and can politly ask people who violates the etiquette to review it before their next post.
