Actually not everyone is constantly monitoring, and quite frankly I
skip many that use top posting as it is too much effort to constantly
scroll up and down to follow a thread.

The best way to get free help is to make it as easy as possible on
those that are willing to dedicate time to helping others.  In-line
posting, bottom posting and removing  sections "[snip]" help keep it
readable and searchable.

Do what ever you want, but understand the ramifications.

A: Because people read top to bottom.
Q: Why not top post?
