Gentoo ebuild file pick the app version based upon the filename, e.g.
openvpn-2.0_beta11.ebuild is for openvpn 2.0_beta11. By renaming the
ebuild file to openvpn-2.0_rc6.ebuild and start the ebuild. You are
instantly downloading the 2.0 rc6. Unless you have some "extra"
dependencies you want to specify in the new release, otherwise there
isn't much to maintain anyway.
