Forget about it. It seems to be an issue where i restart the openvpn
daemon too fast after killing it. Just waiting a few extra seconds
solves the issue.

does indeed come. But the server wont respond to it.
Changing the verb option on the serverside to 5 solved the problem.
Setting it back to 4 again and the tunnel wont work. Other than that I
have had no problems at all with OpenVPN, great product!
