My question is: What was the first version of openvpn to have lzo
compression built-in,
My guess is that OpenVPN has supported it since the very first release.
The first occurance of LZO in the changelog is in version 1.1 from 2002,
so it's been there for a long time at least.
and is there a precomipled binary for windows XP and linux (kernel
2.4.20)
For windows yes -- see the download page, for linux - no.
