Isn't this just a non-issue in most cases because the TUN/TAP device closure automatically deletes any routes which were directed through it?

Yes, but the warning could cause some people to scream ;) I think the warning simply confuses some people but maybe you think different about that.


And removing the routes with the plugin is a nice to have.
