I have what I think is a relatively simple feature request: when using 'auth-user-pass' on the client side, it would be nice if the username and password could be optionally saved after typing it in once, just like in the standard Microsoft VPN client. There might also be another menu option to delete or edit the username and password.
but, it's also a big security breach to save passwords. I think some people have moved to OpenVPN for this very reason, to protect agains users saving their passwords, like they could with the MS VPN client... So, I'd like to get more input from the list whether you want such a feature or not? -- _________________________________________________________ Mathias Sundman (^) ASCII Ribbon Campaign NILINGS AB X NO HTML/RTF in e-mail Tel: +46-(0)8-666 32 28 / \ NO Word docs in e-mail ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2004-11/msg00089.html on line 195 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2004-11/msg00089.html on line 195 |
