[Openvpn-users] fixed VPN IP address

hello

i m trying to give fixed IP address to my clients,but it doesnt work.

here is my configuration :
server 10.1.0.0 255.255.255.0
client-config-dir ccd
route 10.1.0.0 255.255.255.252

then i created a directory ccd
and create a file in it called vpnclient1
in this file i put this:
ifconfig-push 10.1.0.18 10.1.0.17

vpnclient1 is the name of the key/certificate for this client.
when i connect to the server,my client never get this static IP.

what is wrong?
