Hi all ...
Iam running into trouble with more than 100 virtual tunnel devices
The reported problem is as follows:

##############################################
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 0: OpenVPN 1.6.0 i686-pc-linux-gnu [SSL] built on Oct 7 2004
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 1: ******* WARNING *******: all encryption and authentication
features disabled -- all data will be tunnelled as cleartext
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 2: Note: Cannot ioctl TUNSETIFF tun: Too many open files in
system (errno=23)
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 3: Note: Attempting fallback to kernel 2.2 TUN/TAP interface
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 4: Cannot allocate TUN/TAP dev dynamically
Fri Oct 8 19:01:55 2004 5: Exiting
###########################################

Maxfile handles is set to 32768
 Distrubution is redhat 8
 Kernal 2.4..18
 Openvpn 1.6.0

Is there any known Limitation to 100 TUN-Devices or how can i break that
limitation?

Thanks
