I'm not sure I understand your question, but my guess is that you wonder if you can use both Checkpoint SecureClient and OpenVPN on the same Windows XP machine. Normally, yes, it should work okay as long as your Secure Client desktop rules allow you to make the outbound connection with OpenVPN. I've had one problem with this setup though. OpenVPN used UDP/5000, and I had rules in SecureClient to allow this outbound connection. However, connecting worked, but after a couple of minutes SecureClient started to block the openvpn UDP packets. Disableing the policy or rebooting was the only solution I found. This was with CheckPoint SecureClient NG (Don't remember exact release number). After this I've seen other machines running both SecureClient and OpenVPN with the same ruleset in SecureClient without problems though. -- _____________________________________________________________ Mathias Sundman (^) ASCII Ribbon Campaign OpenVPN GUI for Windows X NO HTML/RTF in e-mail http://www.nilings.se/openvpn / \ NO Word docs in e-mail ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users |
