Hi All,
I am testing OpenVPN 2.0b11 between two Win XP, sp1 computers.
As a test, one of the computers dials in to the Internet.
It works, but is really, really slow. Eventually, the
connection will be at least 256K upload in both directions.
But, until then, I tought I'd take advantage of the slow
connection to optomize things as much as possible.
Are there any tricks to get a slow connection to go its fastest?
comp-lzo ?
...as long as you *disable* the hardware compression in the modem which,
for reference, usually increases latency and adds very little value to
your connection.
To the original poster: you email address is non-functional. You will
often get better advice if you post from a valid, working email address.
I can't be bothered repeating my summation of how to achieve the various
degrees of better performance for you since the original, off-list post
bounced.
Daniel
Can you please repeat it for the benefit of others on the list? Or just
forward the original email to me please :)
Thanks in advance
Regards
Luke
