Hi, > my question is, what smb.conf i need to configure so both > network can see each > other and use file sharing in samba? Do you have an entry 'hosts allow = ...' in your smb.conf? You have to give access to the 10.4.0. network or to your single host. If your client can not acces the samba server you should have entries in your smbd.log like 'Dienied connection from...'. It is a very good idea to specify a WINS Server for the device on the remote end, so you can access your samba server by his name -> \\server\share. > and also what can i do with openvpn beside ssh or samba. Everything you can do i a network -> Mail, FTP, HTTP and so on Bye Dirk _________________________ ds-DATASYSTEME Dirk Scheffler Borsigstr. 3 24568 Kaltenkirchen Tel: +49 (0)4191 800284 Fax: +49 (0)4191 8002860 mailto:ds@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.datasysteme.de _________________________ > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: openvpn-users-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:openvpn-users-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Im Auftrag > von razidan > Gesendet: Donnerstag, 2.
