Well, it's working for me :)  What's the properties of the shortcut,
specifically, what's the Target show?  For me, it's something like:

"C:\Program Files\OpenVPN GUI\OpenVPNGUI.exe" "C:\Program
Files\OpenVPN\config\company.ovpn"

You should see the location of the gui program (first part in quotes)
followed by the location of the configuration file (parameter in quotes).

If you don't see this, then there must have something different going on
based on your current system setup.

Otherwise, be sure you are using Version 1.0.1676.17738 of the program
(Help->About) should give you this.
