[Openvpn-users] using an encrypted shared-secret key

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] using an encrypted shared-secret key

Is there a way to use an encrypted shared-secret in client mode that's
not randomly generated by openvpn? My university distributes a vpn
client from cisco, but they haven't yet released a version to work
with the 2.6 kernel, which I'm using.

I spoke with one of the network admins, and he said that he could give
me the encrypted file for the shared-secret (which is the group
password and is built in to the cisco client they distribute).

Thanks for the help,
 -Tony
