Yes, why not?
I'd like to have a simple way to get information about the current status
of the VPN server. And maybe some statistcs.
To me. sending SIGUSR2 to the running process is not very comfortable,
but YMMV.

./configure --without-mysql for you, --with-mysql for me ;-)?
