Some people will only want traffic to and from a I think what the original questioner meant was, how can he restrict his dialup interface from receiving traffic when he's connected to a machine at work with OpenVPN? His experience with other vpn products was that once activated, they automatically shut other interfaces, denying any inbound traffic except that through the vpn. As a few of us pointed out, a firewall would handle this not only for the duration of his vpn use but the rest of the time as well, effectively securing the machine from worms and the like. Andrew |
