Hello,

I'm trying for several days to estabilish a usable tunnel with OpenVPN
between a WinXP client and an OpenBSD machine as server.

Started with the mtu-test option on the OBSD side appears:

Tue Apr 13 22:54:18 2004 131: NOTE: Beginning empirical MTU test --
results should be available in 3 to 4 minutes.

Tue Apr 13 22:57:25 2004 132: NOTE: Empirical MTU test completed
[Tried,Actual] local->remote=[1572,1076] remote->local=[1572,1236]

Tue Apr 13 22:57:28 2004 133: NOTE: Empirical MTU test completed
[Tried,Actual] local->remote=[1572,1076] remote->local=[1572,1236]

Tue Apr 13 23:00:23 2004 134: MSS: 1460 -> 1284
Tue Apr 13 23:00:31 2004 135: MSS: 1460 -> 1284

After that the tunnel dont crashes after few pings.
How can I now use this measured values in the config files on both
sides? (fragmet, mssfix ...)

On the OpenBSD machine runs the paketfilter pf.
With 'scrub in' the mtu-test was not successfully.

Regards,
Oskar
