tunel1.key question

Hi .
Im unable to find an answer to this , in the Docs.
Is it posible to use a Password in file /etc/openvpn/statik.key  instead 
of the generated key with:
openvpn --genkey --secret static.key ?
* *Im migrating from Freeswan where there exists the posibility to use 
either one of those methods
with  authby=rsasig or authby=secret, is there a way to do the same with 
OpenVpn?

I really need some help with this,
