[Openvpn-users] more redirect-gateway problems

Hi -

I've been trying to use the "redirect-gateway" command in my openvpn configs and I've started to experience strange behavior recently. My connections are very broken when I redirect all traffic through the vpn as opposed to specific net routes.

Symptoms of this brokeness affect almost every type of connection I try: http, ssh, scp, ftp... The problem seems to be bad sequencing.
The web browsing has the oddest behavior of them all. I can connect only to certain sites while others simply timeout. At the same time, I can telnet to port 80, GET /, etc (on these same sites). I am wondering if I am experiencing latency issues? I tried sniffing (using Ethereal) the transactions and have noticed the following occurances w.r.t the broken browsing:

source	dest protocol	info
-------------------------------------------
client server	HTTP GET / HTTP/1.1
server	client	TCP http > 1428 [ACK] Seq=1 Ack=359 Win=30660 Len=0
server	client	HTTP [TCP Previous segment lost] Continuation

Has anyone seen these types of problems? The server is RedHat Linux and the client is Windows XP. I haven't tested other client types yet.

Thanks,
Tanya
