Yes!!

Following your recommendations I have configured the tap-device manually in the windows2000, putting it its valid IP address (192.168.1.150 following the example) and all works fine!! :-)

Once rebooted, from the w2k configured as a workgroup I can see all the machines on the network and I just added this w2k to the Samba domain right now. All the steps of the windows wizard has been covered succesfully.

Now I can say that I have a w2k working on a samba domain REMOTELY via OpenVPN!!

I'm agree with Massimiliano to add a very visible note in the documentation recommending a manual address assignment.

OpenVPN it's fantastic. In opposite, Microsoft software ... etc. ;-)
