Yes!! Following your recommendations I have configured the tap-device manually in the windows2000, putting it its valid IP address (192.168.1.150 following the example) and all works fine!! :-) Once rebooted, from the w2k configured as a workgroup I can see all the machines on the network and I just added this w2k to the Samba domain right now. All the steps of the windows wizard has been covered succesfully. Now I can say that I have a w2k working on a samba domain REMOTELY via OpenVPN!! :-) I'm agree with Massimiliano to add a very visible note in the documentation recommending a manual address assignment. OpenVPN it's fantastic. In opposite, Microsoft software ... etc. ;-) Thanks very much to all. -- Jordi Sanfeliu FIBRANET Network Services Provider http://www.fibranet.com Warning: require_once(../../../archive_common.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2003-12/msg00052.html on line 191 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../../archive_common.php' (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/openvpn/domains/openvpn.net/public_html/archive/openvpn-users/2003-12/msg00052.html on line 191 |
