[Openvpn-users] Need help on bridging

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] Need help on bridging
  • From: Bill Tabor <bill.tabor@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

network 1
             (10.1.5.1)
      dsl --- linksys|---linux(openvpn 1 ethernet card) 10.1.50.2
                     |---W2k 10.1.50.101
                     |---W2k 10.1.50.102

network 2
             (192.168.1.1)
      dsl --- linksys|---linux(openvpn 1 ethernet card) 192.168.1.50
                     |---linux 192.168.1.51
                     |---W2k 192.168.1.100

the tunnel address for network 1 is 10.4.0.1
                       network 2 is 10.4.0.2

routes network 1
 linux tunnel 1 -net 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.4.0.2
 linksys 192.168.1.0 route to 10.1.50.2

routes network 2
 linux tunnel 2 -net 10.1.50.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.4.0.1
 linksys 10.1.50.0 route to 192.168.1.50

all systems can see each other by ip. What I would like to do now is
create a bridge so the windows networks can see each other in network
browse. I only have on ethernet card in each of the tunnel systems. Any
ideas as to how to set up bridging?
