I have tried so many different conf's after openvpn broke down, that I 
cannot reconstruct, what broke the connection.

My last attempt was with only this conf-file (mcb-lccx5235.conf) on the 
linux-server:

dev tap
ifconfig 10.4.0.1 255.255.255.0
route-delay 10
secret /etc/openvpn/mcb-mccx2.key
port 5235
comp-lzo
verb 3

and this ovpn-file (mcb-lccx5235.ovpn) on the roadwarrior:

remote lc.cx
port 5235
dev tap
ifconfig 10.4.0.135 255.255.255.0
route-delay 10
route 10.4.0.0 255.255.255.0 10.4.0.1
route 172.23.11.0 255.255.255.0 10.4.0.1
dev-node lc-tap2
secret c:\programmer\openvpn\config\mcb-mccx2.key
ping 10
comp-lzo
verb 4
mute 10



UDP-5235 looks like port-forward'ed on the firewall.
