Hi!

I've gotten it working (finally). Send me some info about your setup and we'll see if we can work together on getting your side working!

Unfortunately I tried to configure one more conf-file on my linux openvpn-server. After then, that servers openvpn have been completely close. None of my ideas have opened an openvpn-tunnel again.

Unless I can get a working openvpn again, samba is a minor problem.

My setup is:

A roadwarrior with windowxXP home.and openVPN beta14.

At office a firewall with IPcop 1.3.0.

A SuSE 8.2 linux-box that authenticates ssh-tunnels and runs openVPN beta14.

A SuSE box with Samba 2.2.7.

A SuSE box with Samba 3.0.0.

Back when openVPN was working, on winXPhome in Explorer I could write
\\ip.of.samba.300 and get a window with the samba3-shares.
If i did the same with the samba227-server, I never got a window with its shares.

Way back around beta6 or 8 I could get the shares-window from samba227 too. Then that openvpn-setup stopped working and after a fresh install of beta12 on a new linux-box, I could only reach samba3-shares..

Today I cannot reach anything.

Hi all,

I've gotten OpenVPN up and working (Linux server, Windows 2000/XP
clients) and have the following question:

To get Samba access working, I found that I had to add an additional
route, to ensure that various broadcasts and connections and things went
over the VPN interface (not my net interface). Is this something
everyone else encounters?

I have problems with connections to Samba 2.2.x, and would like to hear
about your solution.
