Objet : [Openvpn-users] Can't ping between W2K and XP

I have installed OpenVPN (b9) on my home machine (W2K SP4) and work machine
(XP SP1). Ive generated my public keys and made sure they are the same
on both systems and have a config file with the following basic
settings:

remote <ip address>
dev tap
ifconfig 10.3.0.2 255.255.255.0
ping 10
comp-lzo
verb 3
mute 10

My home machine sites behind a router which has TCP and UDP enabled on port 5000.

When I start openvpn (right clicking) both machines seem to start up
OK and end with a "Peer Connection Initiated" and then the remote IP.
However they cant ping each other. My work machine can ping itself,
but my home machine cant. I suspect that this is the root of the
problem but am not sure what to look at next.

Thanks for any pointers.

mike
